The Cypriot Post – An Exercise in Patience

Forget German punctuality. Letter from Germany: 5-10 days. Package: 7-15 days. Rural delivery sometimes non-existent (P.O. Box needed). But alternatives (DHL, UPS, ACS) much better than post's reputation.

Cyprus Post

Letters international: 5-10 days. Packages: 7-15 days. Home delivery: cities yes, rural often no (need P.O. Box, €10-30/year). Tracking: not always reliable.

This was exactly our experience: Letter from Germany: 5-10 days. Package: 7-15 days. Rural delivery sometimes non-existent (P.O. Box needed). But alternatives (DHL, UPS, ACS) much better than post's reputation.
