No Mail in the Mailbox

No home mail delivery in Cyprus. Letters go to your PO Box at the post office. Parcels via courier come to your home address. Two parallel systems that work well once set up.

The PO Box

Apply at local Cyprus Post office with passport/Yellow Slip and rental contract. €5-15/year. All letter mail goes here: bills, official correspondence, bank letters. Parcels held at post office counter or delivered by courier to home.

The section on "No Mail in the Mailbox" was the most valuable for us. We couldn't find this information anywhere else before our move. It saved us a lot of time and hassle.
