Shore fishing: no license needed. Freshwater reservoirs: license from Department of Fisheries. Spearfishing: special license with strict rules. Boat fishing: boat license needed.

Freshwater: Asprokremmos Reservoir (carp to 15 kg), Kouris, Germasogeia. Sea: Zygi Pier, Larnaca Marina, Pafos Harbor. Deep-sea tours from Limassol and Pafos.
